Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo in Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter an academic, as well as Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed actress director producer playwright educator and director of drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna holds some of her earliest memories of watching television and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk made several commercials while she was still a kid. The year 1997 was the time she graduated with a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Silk's work on television has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. She was given the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk revealed to her followers that she was pregnant in January 2013 at a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she's ready to go back to work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production for the fourth season. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) along with Lauren the actress (Zoie) as one of their top TV couples. Entertainment Television.
