Srushti deshmukh, who is in her third year of engineering she has begun preparation for UPSC. She wondered if engineering was the best career choice for her. Eventually, she realised that civil service was what she loved and decided to pursue the field. She was encouraged by her parents to consider careers in civil services and prepare herself for the tests. Her motivation never waned as she remained focused at her dream to become an IAS. The job required to be an IAS officer takes greater. When she was preparing in her engineering courses, she used to also prepare different subjects in UPSC. Everyday, she would set aside time to work on her preparation for the test. In less than a month and half, she prepared for her engineering test and completely avoided all social media. Focus is crucial for her in order to succeed on this test. She hopes to be a civil servant. She was determined to get through the exam in one go, and she was able to put in a lot of hours. Every day, she read the newspapers to stay abreast on the current news. Rajya Sabha TV and online study materials were also a great help to her.
